Introducing NHS East Riding of Yorkshire
East Riding of Yorkshire Primary Care Trust was established in October 2006 and is now known as NHS East Riding of Yorkshire. Prior to this it was known as the East Yorkshire and Yorkshire Wolds and Coast Primary Care Trusts.

~ we have a relatively elderly population with 67,000 (20%) of residents aged over 65
~ we cover a large geographical area of approximately 1,000 square miles
~ we are the second largest non-metropolitan district in England
~ Our net expenditure for 01/04/10 to 31/03/2011 was around £458 million
